In short

  • The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools and does not use an advertising ID.
  • On the waryong2.com website (not in the app), the Meta Pixel measures our ads on Facebook and Instagram; it runs automatically when the pages open, and you can turn it off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the site (section 9).
  • In the Android app installed from Google Play, Dragon Coins (EP) can be bought inside the app through Google Play; Google takes the payment and your card details never reach us. The Android version downloaded from waryong2.com and the iPhone app have no in-app purchases (section 3b).
  • The app does not ask for access to your location, camera, contacts or photos. It asks for microphone permission only for voice chat: in the Android app and the iPhone app when you first press Talk or when you tap "Allow microphone" in the Microphone/Voice window. The microphone is on only while you hold Talk or while Open Mic mode is on; listening needs no permission. If you do not use voice chat, the app does not ask for microphone permission. If you are a guild leader and pick a picture for your guild mark or flag, only that picture is used: the app shrinks it on the device and sends the small image to the game server, where other players see it as your guild's mark or flag.
  • Phone notifications are optional. To notify your phone about cooldowns, offline shop sales, whispers, Character Marketplace sales, events and guild wars, the app uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android and the Apple Push Notification service on iPhone; the content of whisper messages never appears in a notification (section 3c).
  • The data the game needs (username, password, PIN, character data, chat messages) goes only to the Waryong2 game servers (for the optional chat translation, see the next point). The registration and account deletion windows in the app send what you type only to waryong2.com (see sections 2 and 12).
  • Chat translation is optional and off by default. It works only if you turn it on: the text of other players' chat and whisper (PM) messages shown to you is then sent to Waryong2's translation server (ceviri.waryong2.com, or waryong2.com if it does not respond) and from there to Anthropic (Claude AI) to be translated; no account data is sent, and your IP address is not passed on to Anthropic. The text and the translation of the public chat and shout messages shown to you are also kept on your device for up to 30 days and are deleted when you turn the Translation option off. You can turn it off at any time in Game Options (section 3).
  • Voice chat sends your voice live to your group or to the players around you; the voice is not recorded. It is encrypted between your device and our voice relay, not end-to-end. To investigate reports, the relay keeps only connection and talk details (who, when and roughly where in the game), never the voice, for 30 days. You can turn voice chat off in the Microphone/Voice window (section 3a).
  • When the app crashes, freezes or the game screen stays black, a short technical error log is sent automatically to waryong2.com so that we can find and fix the problem. It does not contain your password, PIN or chat messages and is not matched to your account (section 6). You can also share a log yourself with the "Error log" button on the login screen.
  • You can delete your account with the Delete My Account link on the app's login screen; we delete it within 30 days at the latest (section 12).
  • Questions and data requests: support@waryong2.com

1.Who is responsible

This policy explains how the Waryong2 Mobile game app (Android and iOS) and the Waryong2 game servers it connects to use your information.

Waryong2 is responsible for your information. Contact: support@waryong2.com

2.Your account

A Waryong2 account is created with the registration form on waryong2.com or with the Create Account window on the app's login screen. The window in the app asks for the same information as the form on the website and sends what you type over HTTPS only to waryong2.com; the account is created by the website's own registration system. The username, password, PIN, e-mail address, full name and character deletion code you enter when registering, and the registration date and your IP address at registration, are stored in the Waryong2 database. No phone number is asked for when registering; if you wish, you can add, change or remove a phone number later on waryong2.com with Change Phone Number on the My Account page; a number you add is stored with your account in the Waryong2 database.

When you register in the app, the app's language, the platform (Android or iOS) and the app version are sent as well. To prevent abuse, the website keeps your IP address in attempt counters for a short time and only in hashed form. After registering, you can choose to have the new account written to the saved accounts panel on your device (section 5).

In the game, the app uses the username, password and PIN you type when logging in and, when you delete a character, the character deletion code. The app asks for your e-mail address and name only in the registration window and sends them only to waryong2.com, never to the game server.

3.What the app sends to the game server and for translation

To let you play, the app sends the following to the Waryong2 game server:

Username, password and PIN (at every login) and client version information.

Game language

The code of the game language you chose. It appears as a flag next to your name in chat. If "World Citizen" is on at the login screen, a generic code ("eu") is sent instead and a globe is shown instead of the flag.

Character and gameplay

Empire choice, character creation (name, class, appearance) and deletion (character deletion code); movement, combat, items, trading, shops, guild, group and friend list actions; the picture you pick for a guild mark or flag (shrunk on the device to 16×12 / 64×128 pixels); purchases you make with EP in the Item Shop; the items you look for in the shop search (the server does not record searches).

Chat and whispers

Messages you write go to the server, which delivers them to the recipients (the relevant players in public chat, the player you whisper to). The server does not store these messages, except as described below.

Like any internet connection, the game server sees your IP address. The server stores your character's data (name, class, level, items, position, guild, friend list, etc.) so that the game works.

To prevent cheating, fraud and rule violations and to provide player support, the game server keeps login records (time and IP address) and in-game item records (for example items that change hands in a trade). Chat and whisper messages are stored on the game server only in these cases: a whisper you send to a player who is offline is kept on the server until that player logs in and receives it (at most 30 days) and is deleted when it is delivered; the latest whispers between you and a player you report or who reports you (in both directions) are kept with the report (section 13); messages from characters below level 10 that are caught by the automatic spam filter may be written to the server's log file. For the optional chat translation, see below.

An anti-cheat system runs on the game server and checks characters' movement and skill data. This data is not sent to the maker of the anti-cheat system or to any other company.

Chat translation (optional): the Translation option in Game Options is off by default; before it is turned on, the app asks for your permission. When it is on (and only then), the text of other players' chat and whisper (PM) messages shown to you is sent over HTTPS to the Waryong2 translation server (ceviri.waryong2.com; if it does not respond, to waryong2.com as a fallback) and from there to Anthropic (Claude AI) to be translated into your language. These requests contain only the message text (without the sender's name), the sender's language flag, the chat channel, your game language, the platform and the app version; no account data is sent. Your IP address is not passed on to Anthropic; to prevent abuse, the translation server keeps it in counters for a short time and only in hashed form. Your own messages and system messages are not sent for translation.

To avoid translating (and paying for) the same message again and again, translations are cached for up to 30 days on the translation server that handled the request; they are not used for anything other than translation and the frequency count described below. Message texts are not written to the translation servers' logs. So that the same message can be shown without waiting when it appears again, the text and the translation of the public chat and shout messages shown to you (without the sender's name) are also kept on your device for up to 30 days; whisper, group and guild messages are not kept on your device. This record stays only on your device, is not sent to us or to anyone else, and is deleted when you turn the Translation option off. In addition, the cache counts how many times, and into how many languages, short messages of up to 24 characters have been translated (who wrote them is not kept); the most frequently written general phrases that contain no name, number or link (for example greetings) may, after a manual review, be added to the ready-made translation list that comes with the game. In the current app version, phrases on this list are translated on your device without being sent to the server; in older versions the server answers them from the same list and does not send them to the AI.

Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, USA) is a service provider (data processor) working on our behalf: it processes the texts only to provide the translation (including checks for misuse of its service), under its commercial terms and data processing agreement with us, and does not use them to train its models. You can turn translation off at any time in Game Options; while it is off, no messages are sent for translation.

3a.Voice chat

The Android app and the iPhone app (App Store and TestFlight versions) have optional voice chat. There are two rooms: Group (the players in your group) and Nearby (the players around your character in the game). To talk, you hold the Talk button; in Open Mic mode, one tap turns the microphone on and another tap turns it off. The microphone is on only then, and voice chat pauses while the app is in the background or during a phone call. The app asks for microphone permission when you first press Talk or when you tap "Allow microphone" in the Microphone/Voice window; listening needs no permission. Before you talk in Nearby for the first time, you are asked to accept the rules.

Where your voice goes: while group voice (when you are in a group) or Nearby is on, the app connects to the voice relay, Waryong2's own server in Germany, even if you only listen. When you talk, your voice passes live through the relay to your group or to the players around you. It stays in the relay's memory only until it is delivered and is not recorded. It is encrypted between your device and the relay; because the relay re-encrypts it for each listener, this encryption is not end-to-end. The game server gives the app an access key for the relay, from which the relay learns your player number, your room, your empire and, in Nearby, your rough position in the game (map and area). The app also tells the relay which players you have blocked. Your phone's location is not used. Like any internet connection, the relay sees your IP address.

What other players receive: when you talk, your player number (in Nearby also your in-game ID) reaches the listeners' apps together with your voice, and their app shows your character name in its Speakers list. In Nearby, your voice and player number can also reach players who cannot see your character yet, up to about 120 metres away on the game map. The voice is not recorded, but another player could record it on their own device, so do not share personal information in voice chat. In Nearby, a player you have blocked does not hear you and you do not hear them; game masters (GMs), however, can still hear you so that they can check reports.

Logs: to investigate reports and prevent abuse, the relay writes only the following to its log file, never the voice: the connection number, a shortened form of your IP address (with the last part removed), your player number, the room, the time and length of the connection and the number of data packets; in Nearby also the time and length of each time you talk, your rough position in the game (map and area), your empire and how many players heard you. These logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.

Reporting, muting and turning it off: in the Speakers list, tap a player's row and choose Mute, Block or Report; the group window also has mute and report buttons. When you report someone, the game server records the time; your character (number, account, name), your IP address and your position in the game; the reported character (number, account, name); the room type and the channel; and the reason you chose. Because the voice is not recorded, our game masters (GMs) check reports against the relay logs. A player who is reported from several different accounts within a short time can only listen in Nearby for a while. Voice chat reports are kept like the other server records (section 11). In the Microphone/Voice window you can turn group voice and Nearby off or use Mute all; while both are off, the app does not connect to the relay. You can withdraw the microphone permission at any time in your phone's settings. Your voice chat settings and your acceptance of the rules are stored only on your device.

3b.Buying EP on Google Play

In the Android app installed from Google Play you can buy Dragon Coins (EP) in the Item Shop. The Android version downloaded from waryong2.com and the iPhone app do not have this feature. Google Play takes the payment: Google processes your card and other payment details under its own privacy policy; these details never reach us.

What is sent: Before a purchase, the app gets a short-lived payment session from waryong2.com through the game server. To match the purchase to your account, it gives Google Play a hashed value derived from your account number; your username, e-mail address and password are not sent to Google. After you pay, the app sends the purchase token issued by Google, the order number, the product ID and the app version to waryong2.com over HTTPS; the site verifies the purchase with Google Play and adds the EP to your account.

What we keep: For each purchase: Google's order number, the purchase token, the product, the quantity and the amount of EP added; your account number, username and (if known) character number; your account's hashed value; the billing country code reported by Google Play; whether it was a test or promotional purchase; the times of the purchase, of adding the EP and of completing it; the IP address of the request and the app version. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we also record the refund time and reason reported by Google, the EP deducted from your account, any remaining debt and the fact that Google Play purchases were turned off for your account; any sanction is written to the penalty records (Terms and Conditions, section 6). The site also writes the time, account number, IP address and result to the technical log of payment operations; only a shortened digest of the purchase token is written there. Only our administrators can see these records.

Why, and legal basis: We use this data to add the EP to the right account exactly once, to complete interrupted purchases, to handle refunds and chargebacks, to prevent fraud and abuse (for example per-account purchase limits) and to meet our accounting and tax obligations. For players in the EU / EEA, the legal bases are the performance of the purchase contract, our legitimate interest in preventing fraud, and our legal obligations.

Where and for how long: Purchase records are stored in the database of the Waryong2 game servers (Contabo, Germany), and the technical logs on the waryong2.com server (Hosting Dünyam, Turkey). These records are not deleted when your account is deleted: they are kept for as long as our legal retention obligations (accounting and tax) require, and so that later refunds and chargebacks can be handled. When your account is deleted, your username in the purchase records is masked (only its first two letters remain).

3c.Phone notifications

While you are not in the game, the app can send some game events to your phone as notifications: when your Skill Book, Soul Stone or Biologist cooldown is over; when an item sells in your offline shop; when someone whispers (PMs) you while you are away; when your character sells on the Character Marketplace; event reminders; and when war is declared on your guild and when the war starts. Notifications are tied to your account, so they reach your phone even if you play on another device (for example on PC). Notifications are optional: you can refuse when your phone asks for permission, turn each notification type off separately in the app's Game Options window, or turn them all off in your phone's settings.

What is sent and what we keep: While notifications are on, the app sends the game server a notification token that it gets from your phone's notification service (a push token: the Google Firebase Cloud Messaging token on Android, the Apple Push Notification service token on iPhone), the platform, your game language and which notification types you turned on; these are stored with your account number and the time the device last connected to the game. To be able to send notifications, the game server also keeps the details of the event concerned: your character name and which cooldown ends when; the shop item sold, its quantity and price; the character name of the player who whispered you and the number of messages; the name of the character sold and the EP added to your account; the names of the guilds at war. The content of whisper messages is never read by the notification system and never appears in a notification. The text of the notification (title and short description; character, guild and item names, prices) reaches your phone through Google's (Android) or Apple's (iPhone) notification servers.

Service providers: To receive notifications, the Android app uses Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging service (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): it creates a Firebase installation ID and a notification token on your device, which Google processes to deliver notifications under its own terms and privacy policy and may also process on its servers in the United States. The iPhone app uses Apple's Push Notification service (Apple Inc.). We do not use Firebase's analytics, crash reporting or advertising services. Our server that sends the notifications is in Contabo's data centre in Germany.

Why, and legal basis: We use this data only to send the notifications you turned on. For players in the EU / EEA the legal basis is your choice (consent), which you can withdraw at any time in Game Options or in your phone's settings.

How long: Pending notification records are deleted automatically once the notification is sent, or when it could not be sent and has expired. The notification token is deleted automatically the next time you log in after you turn all notifications off or withdraw your phone's notification permission, at the next delivery after you uninstall the app or the token becomes invalid, and if the device does not connect to the game for 30 days. If your account is deleted, these records are also deleted within 30 days at the latest.

4.What other players and the public can see

Waryong2 is an online game. Other players can see your character name, level, empire, guild (including its name, mark and flag), the name of a shop you open, your chat messages and (if World Citizen is off) your language flag. The ranking pages on waryong2.com publicly show a character's name, level, class, empire, guild and play time. If a player who has turned on chat translation sees your messages, their text (without your name) may be sent to Waryong2's translation server (ceviri.waryong2.com, or waryong2.com if it does not respond) and from there to Anthropic to be translated for that player; the text and the translation of your public chat and shout messages (without your name) may also be kept on that player's device for up to 30 days (section 3). When you talk in voice chat, the players in your group or around you hear your voice, and your player number reaches their app (section 3a).

5.What is stored on your device

  • Saved accounts: if you use the account saving panel on the login screen (up to 5 accounts), the username, password and PIN are stored on your device, in the app's own storage, without encryption. They only go to the game server when you log in. You can delete them at any time with the remove button in the panel. Do not use this feature if you share your phone with others.
  • Settings: language, server and channel choice, game and system options, World Citizen, Button Layout (the position and size of the attack ring buttons), whether some tips have been shown, which quest letters you have seen (with the character name), the prices you last entered for items in your shop.
  • Notification settings: which notification types you turned on, that the notification permission was asked once, and your phone's latest notification token (section 3c).
  • Translation memory: while the Translation option is on, the text and the translation of the public chat and shout messages shown to you (without the sender's name), for up to 30 days. It is not included in your phone's backup and is deleted when you turn the Translation option off (section 3).
  • Downloaded game files: game packs and music.
  • Diagnostic logs: error lines and a game connection log. They stay on your device and are size-limited (old lines are removed). Your password, PIN and chat messages are not written to these logs.

Your phone's own backup or device transfer feature (such as Android backup or iCloud backup) may copy this data, including saved accounts, to your backup or a new device; this is a Google / Apple service and does not reach us. Uninstalling the app removes the app data from the device.

6.Error log

Automatic technical error log: if the app crashed or closed unexpectedly during the previous use, if the screen froze for a long time, or if the game screen stayed black (for example because of a graphics or memory problem), the app prepares a short technical log without asking you and sends it over HTTPS only to waryong2.com. The log contains: app version; device model; operating system version; memory and graphics measurements (memory use, frame times, graphics error counts); crash or freeze information (on iPhone, including the crash and performance diagnostics that Apple gives the app on the device); error lines and the game's loading steps; a random session number. Your password, PIN, chat messages and the names of shops you opened or players you traded with are not included; the log is not matched to your account. With the log, the server stores only a shortened form of your IP address (with the last part removed). We use automatic logs only to find and fix errors such as crashes, freezes and black screens, and delete them after 30 days at the latest.

Error log you share yourself (optional): when you tap the "Error log" button on the login screen, the app prepares a single text file and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose where it goes (for example e-mail, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord).

The log you share yourself contains: app version; device manufacturer and model; operating system version; processor type and amount of memory; report time; information about the last crash, if any; the diagnostic logs above (which may include your account name, character name, map position, the server addresses connected to, and the name of a player you traded with or a shop you opened); the list of installed game packs; and the app's own system log. Your password, PIN and chat messages are not included. The file stays in the device's temporary folder; only the latest report is kept.

We use error logs you send us only to find and fix the problem. They are not deleted when the problem is solved; if you want them deleted, write to support@waryong2.com (section 12).

7.Downloads

Game packs, music and (only in the Android version downloaded from waryong2.com) update information are downloaded over HTTPS from our download servers on Cloudflare (R2) and bunny.net (paket.apexpatch.online, r2.dev, patch.waryong2.com). No account information is sent with these requests. Like any internet request, the download server sees your IP address and the device's standard user agent (for example operating system version and device model). These providers keep technical logs under their own privacy policies.

8.Links

The website, Discord, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp links in the app open in your phone's browser or in the respective app; what you do there is covered by those services' own privacy policies. The app does not show web pages inside the app.

The Vote4Buff vote button of older Android versions of the app has been removed; the app does not send requests to voting sites.

9.Ads, analytics and tracking

The app contains no advertising, analytics, third-party crash reporting or social media SDKs; the app's own automatic technical error log goes only to waryong2.com (section 6). The Android app uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging only to receive phone notifications; Firebase's analytics, crash reporting and advertising services are not used (section 3c). No advertising ID (Android advertising ID, Apple IDFA) is used and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. In-app purchases exist only in the Android app installed from Google Play and go through Google Play's billing system (section 3b).

If you installed the app from Google Play, the App Store or TestFlight, these stores process data under their own privacy policies. If "share with developers" is enabled on your device, Apple and Google may show us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you; feedback you send in TestFlight (text and screenshots) reaches us.

Meta Pixel on the waryong2.com website: the paragraphs above are about the app; the app contains no Meta Pixel. On the waryong2.com website (in your browser) we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. The Pixel runs automatically when the site's pages open. Your browser sends Meta the address of the pages you visit and whether you opened the registration page, completed a registration or clicked a download link (iOS, Android or PC), together with your IP address, browser details and Meta's cookies (_fbp, and _fbc if you came from an ad). We do not send Meta your username, e-mail address, password or anything else you type into the registration form. Meta may link this information to your Facebook or Instagram account and processes it under its own privacy policy; we only see aggregated ad results. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring the results of our ads; you can object to it at any time. To turn the Pixel off, open the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the site and choose Turn off: the site's Meta cookies (_fbp, _fbc) are deleted and the Pixel no longer loads in that browser. This choice is stored in your browser for 6 months; when that period ends, or if you delete the site data in your browser, the Pixel runs again and you can turn it off again. You can also stop the Pixel with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker, delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and change your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

10.Why we use your data

  • To run the game: your login, saving your character, chat, trading and other game actions.
  • Chat translation: if you turn it on, translating the messages shown to you into your language; showing the translation from the record on your device without waiting when the same message appears again; counting frequently written short phrases (without keeping who wrote them) to prepare the ready-made translation list that comes with the game.
  • Voice chat: if you turn it on, delivering your voice live to your group or to the players around you; investigating abuse with the relay logs and reports.
  • Security and fair play: preventing cheating, fraud and rule violations, and reviewing reports.
  • Support: looking into your problems and the error logs you send, and answering you.
  • Fixing errors: finding and fixing crashes, freezes and black screens with the automatic technical error logs.
  • Downloads: delivering the game files to your phone.
  • Google Play purchases: adding the EP you buy to your account, handling refunds and chargebacks, and preventing fraud (section 3b).
  • Phone notifications: if you turn them on, notifying your phone about game events (section 3c).

For players in the EU / EEA, the legal bases are: performance of a contract to run the game; legitimate interest for security and anti-cheat; your request (consent) for error logs you share yourself and for chat translation; legitimate interest in keeping the app working and fixing errors for the automatic technical error log; and, for players whose messages are translated, legitimate interest in letting players who speak different languages understand each other. For voice chat, the legal basis is performance of a contract; for the voice relay logs and voice chat reports, it is legitimate interest in investigating reports and preventing abuse.

We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising; the only exception is the Meta Pixel ad measurement on the waryong2.com website (section 9; it can be turned off with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the site). We share it only with the service providers named on this page, as far as the job requires, and with competent authorities when the law requires it.

11.Where it is stored and for how long

  • Account and game data: stored on the Waryong2 game servers, which are in Contabo data centres in Germany. The waryong2.com website and the support@waryong2.com mailbox are on a Hosting Dünyam server in Turkey: the website's own records and the e-mails you send us (including error logs and reports) are stored there.
  • Retention: we keep your account and character data for as long as your account exists; accounts are not deleted for inactivity. We keep server logs (login time and IP address, item records, spam filter records) for at most 3 years.
  • Offline whispers: a whisper you send to a player who is offline stays on the game server until it is delivered, for at most 30 days; it is deleted automatically when it is delivered or when the 30 days are over.
  • Device identifier history: if the game server records a device identifier (hardware ID) for your account, we keep the changes to it (old and new value, time) for at most 180 days to prevent cheating and ban evasion and to find accounts created from the same device; only administrators can see these records.
  • Support e-mails: to help our support team reply faster, e-mails you send to support@waryong2.com may be summarised and translated into Turkish with AI (Anthropic, Claude AI). Only the subject, the text and the sender's name are sent for this; attachments are never sent. Only our support team sees the summary and the translation; they are not sent to you and are kept with the support records on the waryong2.com server. Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, USA) is a service provider (data processor) working on our behalf: it processes the text only to prepare the summary and translation (including checks for misuse of its service), under its commercial terms and data processing agreement with us; it does not keep it longer than that agreement allows and does not use it to train its models.
  • Deleted characters: a character you delete in the game with your character deletion code is removed from the game but kept on the server as a backup. To ask for your data to be deleted, see section 12.
  • Data on your device: stays until you delete it or uninstall the app; diagnostic logs shrink automatically because of their size limit, and the entries in the translation memory are deleted automatically after at most 30 days.
  • Download providers: keep technical logs under their own policies.
  • Automatic technical error logs: kept on the waryong2.com server (Turkey) for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Chat translation: translations are kept for up to 30 days on the translation server that handled the request. This is ceviri.waryong2.com (Contabo, Germany); when it does not respond, requests go to the waryong2.com server (Hosting Dünyam, Turkey) as a fallback. Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, USA) processes the texts on our behalf as our service provider (data processor), only for the translation (including checks for misuse of its service) and under its commercial terms and data processing agreement with us; it does not keep them longer than that agreement allows and does not use them to train its models. The text and the translation of the public chat and shout messages shown to you are also kept on your device for up to 30 days and are deleted when you turn the Translation option off (section 3).
  • Voice chat: the voice is not recorded. The voice relay is in a Contabo data centre in Germany, with the same provider as the game servers; if you play from Turkey or any other country outside Germany, your voice and the relay logs are therefore transferred to Germany. The relay logs are kept there for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Voice chat reports are kept like the other server records.
  • Meta Pixel (website): Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland, EU) processes and keeps the data under its own policies and may also transfer it to Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA). Meta's cookies (_fbp, _fbc) stay in your browser for up to 90 days after your last visit; if you turn the Pixel off in Cookie settings, that choice is kept for 6 months.
  • Google Play purchases: purchase records on the game servers (Germany) and technical logs on the waryong2.com server (Turkey) are kept for as long as our legal retention obligations require; they are not deleted with the account (section 3b).
  • Phone notifications: notification records and notification tokens are stored on the game servers (Germany) and deleted automatically as described in section 3c; notifications are delivered through Google's and Apple's servers.

12.Your rights and account deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and data with the Delete My Account link on the app's login screen: you enter your username, your password, your PIN if the website asks for it, and your character deletion code. These go over HTTPS only to waryong2.com and are used only to confirm that the account is yours; they are not written into the deletion request. If the check succeeds, a deletion request (support ticket) is opened; it contains your account number, username, registered e-mail address, the request date, the platform and app version, your language and your IP address. An e-mail confirming that we received the request is sent to your registered e-mail address. We delete your account within 30 days at the latest. You can also send the deletion request by e-mail to support@waryong2.com, including your username; we then send a confirmation link (valid for 72 hours) to the e-mail address registered to your account and delete the account only after you confirm the deletion with that link.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone: your account and all your characters, the items in your inventory and storage, your EP balance, guild memberships and friend lists are deleted, and an e-mail telling you that your account has been deleted is then sent to your registered e-mail address. Any payment and purchase records (which may contain your username and the name and IP address used for the payment), rule violation and report records, and your support requests and correspondence are not deleted with the account: we keep them for accounting, fraud prevention and complaint history. Server logs are kept for up to 3 years, as described in section 11. The username of a deleted account cannot be registered again for 30 days; for this, only a hashed form of the name is kept, and it is deleted after 30 days. In Google Play purchase records your username is masked (section 3b).

To get a copy of your account information or ask for a correction, write to support@waryong2.com from the e-mail address registered to your account and include your username. We may ask for more information to confirm that the account is yours. We answer within 30 days at the latest.

You can also have some of your data deleted without deleting your account: ask for error logs you sent us to be deleted by writing to support@waryong2.com, and remove your phone number yourself on waryong2.com on the My Account page (if your account is banned or suspended, write to support@waryong2.com instead). You can also delete your characters yourself in the game with your character deletion code. You can remove saved accounts from your device in the panel on the login screen.

The data protection laws of your country (for example the EU GDPR or Turkey's KVKK) may give you further rights, such as access, objection and data portability; you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

13.Reporting players

The Block button in the whisper (PM) window offers two choices: Block only blocks that player; Block and report blocks the player and sends a report to the game server. The app sends the server only the name of the character you are reporting. The server then saves the latest whisper messages that player sent you and the ones you sent that player (at most 10 in each direction; for this purpose the server keeps received and sent whispers in memory for at most 2 hours) together with their date and time, the sender's name and game language, your character (number, account, name), the reported character (number, account, name), the channel and the map. Only our game masters (GMs) see these records and use them to review your report. Report records are kept like the other server records (section 11).

In the iOS app, the Report button in a player's target window instead opens your e-mail app with a pre-filled report: your character name, the reported character's name, the server and channel, your latest whisper messages with that player (at most 10) and an empty line for your description. You see the e-mail before you send it and can change or cancel it; it is sent from your own address to support@waryong2.com. You can also report an offensive chat message or player to this address directly (with the character name, server, channel, time and a screenshot if you have one). We use what you send and the related game records to review your report.

14.Security

Pack and music downloads and the registration, account deletion, error log and translation requests are encrypted with HTTPS. Voice chat is encrypted between your device and the voice relay, but not end-to-end (section 3a). The game connection between the app and the game server, however, is not encrypted: your username, password, PIN, your character deletion code when you delete a character, your chat and whisper messages and your character data travel over it unencrypted. So do not use your Waryong2 password for any other service, and be careful on open Wi-Fi networks you do not trust.

Saved accounts are stored on the device without encryption; protect your phone with a screen lock.

15.Children

Waryong2 Mobile is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you learn that a child has created an account or given us information, write to support@waryong2.com and we will delete the account and the data.

16.Changes

We may update this policy when the app or the server changes. The current version is always at https://waryong2.com/privacy/ and the date at the top of the page changes.
