Waryong2 Mobile Privacy Policy
EnglishLast updated: October 9, 2026
In short
- The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools and does not use an advertising ID.
- There are no in-app purchases.
- The app does not ask for access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos.
- The data the game needs (username, password, PIN, character data, chat messages) goes only to the Waryong2 game servers. The registration and account deletion windows in the app send what you type only to waryong2.com (see sections 2 and 12).
- Error logs are never sent automatically; they go only where you choose, and only if you share them.
- You can delete your account with the Delete My Account link on the app's login screen; we delete it within 30 days at the latest (section 12).
- Questions and data requests: support@waryong2.com
1.Who is responsible
This policy explains how the Waryong2 Mobile game app (Android and iOS) and the Waryong2 game servers it connects to use your information.
Waryong2 is responsible for your information. Contact: support@waryong2.com
2.Your account
A Waryong2 account is created with the registration form on waryong2.com or with the Create Account window on the app's login screen. The window in the app asks for the same information as the form on the website and sends what you type over HTTPS only to waryong2.com; the account is created by the website's own registration system. The username, password, PIN, e-mail address, full name, character deletion code and phone number you enter when registering; your answer to "Where did you find us?" if the form asks for it; and the registration date and your IP address at registration are stored in the Waryong2 database.
When you register in the app, the app's language, the platform (Android or iOS) and the app version are sent as well. To prevent abuse, the website keeps your IP address in attempt counters for a short time and only in hashed form. After registering, you can choose to have the new account written to the saved accounts panel on your device (section 5).
In the game, the app uses the username, password and PIN you type when logging in and, when you delete a character, the character deletion code. The app asks for your e-mail address, name and phone number only in the registration window and sends them only to waryong2.com, never to the game server.
3.What the app sends to the game server
To let you play, the app sends the following to the Waryong2 game server:
Username, password and PIN (at every login) and client version information.
Game language
The code of the game language you chose. It appears as a flag next to your name in chat. If "Anonymous Mode" is on at the login screen, a generic code ("eu") is sent instead.
Character and gameplay
Empire choice, character creation (name, class, appearance) and deletion (character deletion code); movement, combat, items, trading, shops, guild, group and friend list actions; purchases you make with EP in the Item Shop.
Chat and whispers
Messages you write go to the server, which delivers them to the recipients (the relevant players in public chat, the player you whisper to). The server does not record these messages.
Like any internet connection, the game server sees your IP address. The server stores your character's data (name, class, level, items, position, guild, friend list, etc.) so that the game works.
To prevent cheating, fraud and rule violations and to provide player support, the game server keeps login records (time and IP address) and in-game item records (for example items that change hands in a trade). Chat and whisper messages are not recorded on the server.
An anti-cheat system runs on the game server and checks characters' movement and skill data. This data is not sent to the maker of the anti-cheat system or to any other company.
4.What other players and the public can see
Waryong2 is an online game. Other players can see your character name, level, empire, guild, chat messages and (if Anonymous Mode is off) your language flag. The ranking pages on waryong2.com publicly show a character's name, level, class, empire, guild and play time.
5.What is stored on your device
- Saved accounts: if you use the account saving panel on the login screen (up to 5 accounts), the username, password and PIN are stored on your device, in the app's own storage, without encryption. They only go to the game server when you log in. You can delete them at any time with the remove button in the panel. Do not use this feature if you share your phone with others.
- Settings: language, server and channel choice, game and system options, Anonymous Mode, Button Layout (the position and size of the attack ring buttons), whether some tips have been shown, which quest letters you have seen (with the character name), the prices you last entered for items in your shop.
- Downloaded game files: game packs and music.
- Diagnostic logs: error lines and a game connection log. They stay on your device and are size-limited (old lines are removed). Your password, PIN and chat messages are not written to these logs.
Your phone's own backup or device transfer feature (such as Android backup or iCloud backup) may copy this data, including saved accounts, to your backup or a new device; this is a Google / Apple service and does not reach us. Uninstalling the app removes the app data from the device.
6.Error log (optional)
When you tap the "Error log" button on the login screen, or choose to send it when the app asks after a crash, the app prepares a single text file and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose where it goes (for example e-mail, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord); the app never sends this log anywhere by itself.
The log contains: app version; device manufacturer and model; operating system version; processor type and amount of memory; report time; information about the last crash, if any; the diagnostic logs above (which may include your account name, character name, map position, the server addresses connected to, and the name of a player you traded with or a shop you opened); the list of installed game packs; and the app's own system log. Your password, PIN and chat messages are not included. The file stays in the device's temporary folder; only the latest report is kept.
We use error logs you send us only to find and fix the problem. They are not deleted when the problem is solved; if you want them deleted, write to support@waryong2.com (section 12).
7.Downloads
Game packs, music and (only in the Android version downloaded from waryong2.com) update information are downloaded over HTTPS from our download servers on Cloudflare (R2) and bunny.net (paket.apexpatch.online, r2.dev, patch.waryong2.com). No account information is sent with these requests. Like any internet request, the download server sees your IP address and the device's standard user agent (for example operating system version and device model). These providers keep technical logs under their own privacy policies.
8.Links
The website, Discord, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp links in the app open in your phone's browser or in the respective app; what you do there is covered by those services' own privacy policies. The app does not show web pages inside the app.
The Vote4Buff vote button of older Android versions of the app has been removed; the app does not send requests to voting sites.
9.Ads, analytics and tracking
The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash reporting or social media SDKs. No advertising ID (Android advertising ID, Apple IDFA) is used and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. There are no in-app purchases.
If you installed the app from Google Play, the App Store or TestFlight, these stores process data under their own privacy policies. If "share with developers" is enabled on your device, Apple and Google may show us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you; feedback you send in TestFlight (text and screenshots) reaches us.
10.Why we use your data
- To run the game: your login, saving your character, chat, trading and other game actions.
- Security and fair play: preventing cheating, fraud and rule violations, and reviewing reports.
- Support: looking into your problems and the error logs you send, and answering you.
- Downloads: delivering the game files to your phone.
For players in the EU / EEA, the legal bases are: performance of a contract to run the game; legitimate interest for security and anti-cheat; and your request (consent) for error logs.
We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named on this page, as far as the job requires, and with competent authorities when the law requires it.
11.Where it is stored and for how long
- Account and game data: stored on the Waryong2 game servers, which are in Contabo data centres in Germany. The waryong2.com website and the support@waryong2.com mailbox are on a Hosting Dünyam server in Turkey: the website's own records and the e-mails you send us (including error logs and reports) are stored there.
- Retention: we keep your account and character data for as long as your account exists; accounts are not deleted for inactivity. We keep server logs (login time and IP address, item records) for at most 3 years.
- Deleted characters: a character you delete in the game with your character deletion code is removed from the game but kept on the server as a backup. To ask for your data to be deleted, see section 12.
- Data on your device: stays until you delete it or uninstall the app; diagnostic logs shrink automatically because of their size limit.
- Download providers: keep technical logs under their own policies.
12.Your rights and account deletion
You can ask us to delete your account and data with the Delete My Account link on the app's login screen: you enter your username, your password, your PIN if the website asks for it, and your character deletion code. These go over HTTPS only to waryong2.com and are used only to confirm that the account is yours; they are not written into the deletion request. If the check succeeds, a deletion request (support ticket) is opened; it contains your account number, username, registered e-mail address, the request date, the platform and app version, your language and your IP address. An e-mail confirming that we received the request is sent to your registered e-mail address. We delete your account within 30 days at the latest. You can also send the deletion request to support@waryong2.com from the e-mail address registered to your account, including your username.
To get a copy of your account information or ask for a correction, write to support@waryong2.com from the e-mail address registered to your account and include your username. We may ask for more information to confirm that the account is yours. We answer within 30 days at the latest. When your account is deleted, your characters, items and EP balance are deleted too.
You can also delete your characters yourself in the game with your character deletion code. You can remove saved accounts from your device in the panel on the login screen.
The data protection laws of your country (for example the EU GDPR or Turkey's KVKK) may give you further rights, such as access, objection and data portability; you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
13.Reporting players
In the iOS app, the Report button in the whisper window or in a player's target window opens your e-mail app with a pre-filled report: your character name, the reported character's name, the server and channel, your latest whisper messages with that player (at most 10) and an empty line for your description. You see the e-mail before you send it and can change or cancel it; it is sent from your own address to support@waryong2.com. You can also report an offensive chat message or player to this address directly (with the character name, server, channel, time and a screenshot if you have one). We use what you send and the related game records to review your report. You can block players who bother you in the game.
14.Security
Pack and music downloads are encrypted with HTTPS. The game connection between the app and the game server, however, is not encrypted; so do not use your Waryong2 password for any other service, and be careful on open Wi-Fi networks you do not trust. The Vote4Buff check request on Android is sent over HTTPS and, if that fails, retried over unencrypted HTTP.
Saved accounts are stored on the device without encryption; protect your phone with a screen lock.
15.Children
Waryong2 Mobile is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you learn that a child has created an account or given us information, write to support@waryong2.com and we will delete the account and the data.
16.Changes
We may update this policy when the app or the server changes. The current version is always at https://waryong2.com/privacy/ and the date at the top of the page changes.
